Will I need to be available on my Design Day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You should be available during the Design Day. You won’t need to sit at your computer all day, but have your phone nearby to respond quickly when feedback is requested. Plan to be free from around 3:00pm–5:30pm Central for the Reveal Video and live revisions.

Does my website have to be in Wix?

Accepted Answer

No. While Wix / Wix Studio is the preferred platform, we also support Square Online (formerly Weebly) and Squarespace. Shopify and Framer support are coming soon. We also support community platforms like Heartbeat and Circle.

Question 3

Can I book a 1/2 Day Experience?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Half Day Experience (4 hours) is available for smaller updates or additions and costs $2,500 (payment plans available).

Are there any additional costs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Additional costs may include a domain (~$10–25/year) and website hosting (~$17–39/month depending on plan). You can save by choosing annual plans; for example, Wix often offers discounts for multi-year prepayment.

How many products will you add for e-commerce sites?

Accepted Answer

For e-commerce sites we typically add 5–10 products so your shop is ready by the end of the day. For large catalogs we usually style your existing product data rather than re-enter everything, and can discuss options for importing or ongoing data entry.

Question 6

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 25% monthly payment plan is available for all packages. The Website Design Day is offered at $3,600 (four payments of $900 is one example of a split).

Question 7

What is a Basecamp project?

Accepted Answer

Basecamp is the project management system used for the Design Day. After you confirm, you’ll be invited to a Basecamp project containing the timeline, DIY Website Content Writing Guide, prep work, and access to the Training Video Library.

Question 8

Do you write the copy for my website?

Accepted Answer

Copywriting is available as an optional paid add-on. We provide a DIY Website Content Writing Guide so you can write your copy if you prefer. If you'd like us to write your copy, we can scope that as an additional service.

Question 9

How far in advance should I schedule my Design Day?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to gather content. If you have a tight deadline, contact us and we’ll try to accommodate.

Question 10

Do I need to have a Brand Design before I start?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You need a logo, color palette, and type suite before a Design Day. If you don’t have branding, we can design it beforehand or add a Mini Brand on the morning of your Design Day for an extra $500.
